Shiitake - "The Hardwood Healer"

Hailing from the East

Though other mushrooms seem to just so happen to have medicinal properties, the Hardwood Healer, is known for its medicinal properties just as much as it’s known for its rich, buttery, meaty flavor when raw. Although the Hardwood Healer is slightly more difficult to cultivate in comparison to oyster mushrooms, it’s well worth it. If grown on logs in the right conditions you could be enjoying the fruits of your labor for years!
